FAQ

  • How do I get started?

We believe in meeting everyone where they are at and helping them move forward. We would start with a phone call or in person meeting to discuss experience and goals. This way we can see if we would be a good fit to work together.

  • What if I have no experience?

Most of our athletes have started with little to no experience with Olympic Weightlifting. After an initial discussion we would work together 1-1 to learn the fundamentals of of strength training and Olympic Weightlifting.

  • What if I’ve done CrossFit, High School Weightlifting, or some other training program?

During our initial conversation we uncover your athletic history and help plan the best course for success. Usually this is a series of 1-1 training sessions to refresh or correct on some of the movements.

  • Do you require contracts?

No. We bill on a 4 week cycle similar to how we structure training. If you need to take a break or cancel we just ask for 2 week notice.

  • Do you offer 24 hour access?

Yes we do! 24 hour access is available for an additional charge for adult athletes.

  • Is Weightlifting safe for kids?

Youth Weightlifting is an incredibly safe sport! According to research weightlifting has an incredibly low injury rate per/100 hours of participation. Much lower than common field sports such as soccer or baseball. All Youth Weightlifting programs and exercises are designed with technique, safety, and longevity in mind.

  • What if I don’t want to compete

While most of our athletes do compete, it’s not required. Many athletes train Olympic Weightlifting for the benefits of increased strength, flexibility, and power, while some train with us to be part of a team of likeminded individuals.

  • What is "Team Training"

If you train with us you’re on the team. Our Team Training sessions are supervised by a USAWeightlifting Certified Level 2 National Coach. Athletes are given their training programs and complete them while our Coach cues, corrects, offers suggestions, and mentorship.
